Who we are
Seldon Ink is the travel journalist team of Lynn & Cele Seldon. We have spent more than 30 years covering our passion for travel.
After a stint in the military overseas and getting bitten by the travel bug, Lynn has a flair for bringing our travels to life in words and pictures.
After a corporate marketing career, Cele found a second love of writing and sharing their travels and escapades with clarity and vision
Our passions
Our travel passions include culinary travel, cruise ship travel, soft adventure including biking, hiking and travel throughout the Southeast.
Our geographic specialties include the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Alaska, Europe, and cruise ship destinations around the world.

Freelance Travel Writing
We've published hundreds of articles in magazines such as Cruise Travel, The Local Palate, Caribbean Travel & Life, Southern Living, Porthole, TrailBlazer, airline inflights, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Charlotte Observer, various AAA publications and dozens more.
Public Relations Writing
We've written for various Chambers of Commerce, Convention & Visitor Bureaus, Visitor Guides, press releases and website content.
Books
Lynn published his first novel, Virginia's Ring, in April 2014. Set in Lexington and Richmond, Virginia, the story follows two VMI cadets separated by decades, but connected by the commitments, bonds, and rings they share.
Lynn and Cele co-authored 100 Things to Do in Charleston Before You Die and 100 Things to Do in Savannah Before You Die (Reedy Press 2020)
Lynn has also written several armchair traveler books over the past 25 years. From Virginia to West Virginia to Florida and the Caribbean, there are several titles to his name.
